تقصيرة (معطف) من منطقة بيت لحم، مصنوعة من المخمل الأحمر، ومُطرزة بخيوط من الحرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر والبرتقالي وخيوط من القصب الفضي، تمتاز التقصيرة بأكمامها القصيرة، إذ كانت السيّدات ترتديها فوق ثوب الملق ذي الأكمام الطويلة المردنة التي تتدلّى من الثوب، وتكون في الغالب مُطرّزة بذات الأشكال الموجودة على التقصيرة. للتقصيرة بطانة داخلية من القطن، وطُرّزت بقطبة التحريرة، وتحمل أكمامها والبدن الأمامي تطريزاً كثيفاً من الأشكال النباتية، بينما يحمل البدن الخلفي تطريزاً خفيفاً، وطُرّزت الأكتاف بنقشات كنياشين

Taksiri (overcoat) from Bethlehem made of red velvet and embroidered with primarily red and orange silk threads and gilded qasab (metallic couching cords). The taksiri is distinguished by its short sleeves as women would wear it over a Malak (king) thobe (dress) with its mradan (long triangular) sleeves draping and typically embroidered with shapes matching the taksiri. It has a cotton lining and is embroidered with tahriri (couching) stitch. The cuffs and front panel have dense tatreez (embroidery) with plant shapes, whereas the back panel has light tatreez, and the shoulders have epaulette-like motifs.Made/Created
