Racismo EstruturalDescription
In the 1970s, Kwame Turu and Charles Hamilton, in their book "Black Power", first presented the concept of institutional racism: much more than the action of individuals with personal motivations, racism is infiltrated into institutions and culture, creating deficient conditions a priori for a large part of the population. It is based on this concept that the author Silvio Almeida presents statistical data and discusses how racism is in the social, political and economic structure of Brazilian society.
