Constructed ca. 1850-60; rehabilitated 1990. The first recorded ownership of this property is in 1851, when it was purchased by Henry F. Strohecker, executor for the deceased John Strohecker. 138 Logan Street is an example of 19th century commercial construction and has Greek Revival detailing. The Huguenot Society moved to this building from its former residence, The Confederate Home. The Society's library contains volumes pertaining to Huguenot history and extensive genealogical records of Huguenot emigrés and their families.
