Scope and Content

Mount Washington is visible from the Mount Pleasant House that use to sit adjacent to the Mount Washington Hotel. It was torn down in 1939. The tennis court is visible in the foreground as well as two towers with a flag, a deck, veranda and porch as well as tall white pillars. A bridge goes across the Ammonoosuc River and a dirt road leads to the Mount Washington Hotel. Published by The New England News Company.
