Scope and Content

A view of the presidential Range from the 6,300 foot, four passenger gondola tramway descending from the summit of Mt. Whittier, located at the junction of Rts. 16 and 25 West Ossipee, N. H. This color Postcard depicts people descending the mountain in a gondola tramway. There are visible trees and mountains, and a lake in the background. The back of this postcard has handwriting, in addition to a number of postal markings. One postal marking places the date on the postcard at Febuary 24, 1964. Published by Dick Smith Photography, P.
