Colorized postcard depicting an unidentified dirt road flanked on both sides by birch trees. Back Description: Typical postcard back. Addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Dana Woodman, Northwood NH. Dated July 20, 1954. Stamped on the back is "Hire the handicapped. It's good business." Transcription: "2 hr. to wait here so just a line. Had about 3 hrs. with folks in Dedham. L. feeling fine just has to keep very quiet for quite awhile yet. Has lost 16 lbs so far + on strict diet to lose much more. Getting quite hot here. Phoned Rodney this a.m. Going to Tiners so may not meet me. Love Ruth."
