Interview conducted as part of the Camp Stories Oral History Collection. This collection contains anecdotes and memories from campers, staff, alumni, administrators and family members associated with summer camps in the White Mountains region. Complied as part of the exhibit "Summer Camps: The White Mountains Roots of an Iconic American Experience," displayed at the Museum of the White Mountains at Plymouth State University from May 3 - September 13, 2017. Sam Chauncey recounts his experiences as a counselor, assistant director, and director at Groton School Camp (now known as The Mayhew Program) beginning in 1950
