A postcard containing one landscape image of 'The Suspended Boulder,' one portrait image of 'The Flume,' and a small description of the story of the boulder: "FRANCONIA NOTCH, WHITE MTS., N. H. At the time of the ice sheet, an enormous boulder, weighing many tons, was brought down from the mountains above and rested over the top of the gorge at a point indicated by a small sign. This boulder was carried away in the great flood of June 1883.
