H. / A narrow rocky gorge like a little canyon has been cut by the stream in the hard granite a quarter mile long and one hundred feet deep. Its sides green with moss and ferns make more beautiful the tumbling snowy mountain cascade. Transcription: We went through this yesterday as well as lost river, and staid last night in a cabin in Crawford Notch. This morning we are hiking to Mt. Washington and Dixville Notch. Will you take my care out once or twice. We are having a wonderful trip. Hope you are having a nice time at the beach Love to all auntie. Addressee: Mr. Alex Booker Box 364, Davidson, CT

Notes

Postmark location unknown, name is covered by stamp. What remains is Mount, and then what might be an O, or a C, then an A, and the first obscured letter maybe a T, or an R. OAR, OAT, CAR, CAT. Maybe Mount Cardigan, but location doesn't make too much sense with regard to the contents of the postcard. Closer might be Mount Carrigain.
