Description

Black and white image of a covered wooden bridge. In the foreground is a dirt road with two large trees to the left of the road. The shadows from the trees fall across the dirt road. The opening of the bridge has a small wooden fence painted white which extends from both right and left sides of the bridge. On the right side of the bridge there is a sign attached to the bridge. In the background is the far side of the bridges foundation and two poles with cross hatched boards. Related terms; Sawyer's Crossing The photograph is signed in white ink with the name "Sawyer". Back Description: Written on the back in dark pencil handwriting is the words "Sawyers Crossing H" Written on the back in light pencil handwriting is the words "Swanzey, N.H." The two sets of handwriting are definitely different font and style of cursive, thus appearing to be from two different people.
