Description

Item is a glass plate negative with a view of Kearsarge North Mountain and Bartlett Mountain in the background. The house at the summit of Kearsarge North is visible. Also in view, in the foreground, are clearings of land, a stone wall, a wooden fence, farmhouses and outbuildings. There is one large tree in the foreground as well. The foreground of the view is probably North Conway. There is also the number '8' in the bottom left corner. Item comes with a paper protective sleeve that says "No. 8; Mt. Kearsarge + Bartlett from Cemetery; Oct. 1900."
