Description

Black and white view of Colebrook, New Hampshire from Hicks' Hill on November 1, 1898. In the foreground there are several farm houses surrounded by fencing as well as dirt roads. Further in the background the town is more condensed with houses and buildings. On the far right of the image there appears to be a small pond. There also appears to be a long stone wall starting from the bottom right of the frame leading toward one of the farmhouses. In the bottom left corner there is a label stamped in white, "941- Colebrook, N.H. From Hicks' Hill Nov. 1, 1898-- Photo. By Daniel Stevens & Co. Colebrook, N.H." Stamped in black on the back, "Photographed and Published by Daniel Stevens & Co., Colebrook, N.H. Panoramic and Stereoscopic Photographs of Colebrook and vicinity.
