Item is a log segment in a triangular shape with some bark still left on the rounded outer side. Written in pencil on log: "Log from the Old Pinkham Notch AMC Trading Post. Built of logs in 1924 and replaced in 1969. A few souvenir logs were preserved by Bruce Sloat and given as memorabilia to select persons. -Jack Newton AMC Treasurer." Also on log is a sticker placed by donor.
