Description

Black and white photograph of a house on Summer Street in Dorchester. The photograph is a side view of house with a hipped roof and possibly attached el. The house has a front porch with lattice work and vines growing up its columns. A man stands on the porch steps, looking toward a man who sits on a bench on the front lawn. In view are well-kept trees and plants. Also in view are neighboring houses, a parked buggy with a woman inside, pathways and trees. On the front is printed, " A.H. Folsom. Photographer," and " Order Box, 34 Bromfield St, Boston." On the back in pen, "Photograph of 34 Summer Dorchester, taken about 1880."
