Description

Item is a light-colored wooden souvenir chest featuring a black drawing labeled, "Jacob's Ladder." The item is a piece of Mauchline ware. The image features a train on elevated railroad tracks moving toward the bottom of a mountain. There is a man standing on the outside of the train. The chest secures with a small decorative metal latch. There are two small metal hinges in the back. The inside of the box is lined with dark felt. Inside the box is a sale tag which reads, "Mauchline ware late 19th cent. Trinket Box $85.00."
