Item is a light-colored wooden souvenir rounded container with a flat bottom (thimble holder) featuring a black drawing labeled, "Bethlehem, N.H." The item is a piece of Mauchline ware. The image features a view of a road in a small town and several buildings. There are people and a carriage in the road. Also in view are trees. The item is divided into two pieces (the seam is between the round top and the flat bottom). The top has a small white top on it. The pieces fit together snugly. Written in pencil on the inside of the bottom pieces, "40."
