Description

Framed poster advertising the Annual Show of the Mt. Pleasant Employees on August 26 at 9:15pm. In the center of the poster is a couple dancing tango. The man is dressed in black with a red cummerbund and the women is in a giant yellow dress with multiple layers of skirt. The man has on a black cordobes hat and the woman has a green and white tinted veil and clear crown. There are two styles of text, block lettering (both in blue and red paint) and an art deco style (in black paint). The date for the event had originally been started with red paint but was then covered with stickers of the numbers. Everything on the poster was first done in pencil and then painted over. The artists also appears to have smudged some of the yellow and black paint on the woman's dress.
