The Boulder on Pound HillEntry/Object ID

Statement from the artist:
This large stone is an interesting geological feature. It is situated on the edge of the Quincy Road that has climbed the side of "Pound Hill". Thus, it is an elevated spot. It is so named for the pen of granite stones across the road, placed as a corral for stray animals many years ago. The rock and the crest of the hill beyond has become a training ground for beginners in rock climbing. The curious aspect is that it has been permitted to remain where it is. There would a loud outcry if there were an effort to eliminate it. Everyone likes itAcquisition
