Statement from the artist:
This print was the prototype for the NH Village Suite. It is the lone drypoint engraving in the series. Its story is again metaphorical. My project poet colleague, Edie Patridge, lives around the corner from me. We had sons of identical age and they were good friends. They maintained this treehouse in the entrance to the gully on what is called Steel Brook. They grew up and moved away. The abandoned treehouse eventually collapsed. Called back into the environment, it too has disappeared.Acquisition
