Description

Interior kitchen scene with a white-haired man sitting in a wooden chair by a hearth with his back to the viewer. There is a gun over the mantelpiece and corn, sausages, and stockings hung from the ceiling. Many objects decorate the mantel and the hearth. This negative was later used to create the print titled "Meditation", Object ID MWM2010.0001.1927, and a postcard of the same name, Object ID MWM2010.0001.0354.
