On the left side in the foreground is a house with a person leaning over the porch railing. To the right of the house in the yard seems to be a water spigot. There are a few bare trees in the yard and a length of tree trunk or branch on the ground toward the right hand side of the image. The middle ground is bisected by the fence for the house's property, which runs parallel to a dirt road. Beyond that a train trestle is visible, though its supports disappear into a gorge. It spans two hills, also fairly parallel with the road. There are more trees in the middle ground, both bare and evergreen. In the background to the left side is a hill, and spanning the image are numerous snow-capped mountains.Collection
