Description

Close-up image of tulips and hyacinths growing out of dirt. The background seems to be stone and wood but to the left of the image is a fence of wood and wire, off of which hang two tags. Part of another plant may be hanging down in the very right of the image. The flowers cast shadows on the ground, and the fence casts a show on the building behind it.

Emulsion is missing from the upper right and lower left corners of the image. Emulsion is cracking along lower edge and a few spots are wearing away in the middle of the plate. The left edge of the glass is somewhat jagged, which may have come from the photographer cutting the glass for use as a photographic plate. Otherwise good condition.
