Description

Foreground includes a field with scattered rocks and ferns, with a larger group of ferns toward the left-hand side of the image. There is a tall tree toward the right-hand side of the middle ground, as well as a rather short tree that seems to be partially dead based on the loss of leaves from only the branches on its left side. In the background are a line of more trees and the roof of a house or other building can be made out in the center of the image. Far in the background are at least three successive ridges of hills covered in trees; they fade into the sky.
