Description

Logs sit on the right bank of the Saco River that cuts through a snowy landscape. Small trees and bare branches of bushes are scattered throughout the space where the logs are piled, and in the middleground there are taller trees and a hill that rises to meet the sky.

Much loss of emulsion along the top of the plate, and some along the left and bottom of the plate. This does obscure the image but it is only sky, some trees, and snow that is missing from view.
