Description

A dead tree, the braches of which have broken off, dominates the center of the image. There may be broken branches in the foreground. Smaller, mostly leafless trees surround it to the left and right and continue behind to rise into hills. In the background a mountain range is fading into the cloudy sky but can be seen between two large hills.
