MWM2010.0001.2959Description
A dead tree rises in the center of the foreground, and then trees fall away to either side as the land lowers into a valley. The Saco River winds around the foreground, and to the left of the main tree there are fields and a fence that seem to go with the barn and farmhouse that is the center of the middleground. To the far right of the middleground is another farmhouse and barn, and many fences around that land. To the left of those buildings there may be a small tree farm. In the background are many trees rising to hills and then mountains. Taken from Pine Hill.Collection

Notes
Along the top of the plate the emulsion has cracked and pitted away, and there is some pitting throughout the image. There is also a chip in the lower left corner where a small piece of the glass plate is missing. There seems to have been abrasion to at least the top half of the plate in storage. The number 58 is written in the lower right corner.General Notes
