A view from within the doorway, the porch, or the front lawn of a house out past the wrought-iron gate to view the dirt road and the houses beyond. To the left is a house with two stories, a chimney, shutters, and an iron fence in front of it and a wooden fence enclosing the yard to the side. Barely discernible to the right is another house with two or three stories, shutters and an iron fence, because the blooming magnolia tree from the house where this image is being photographed obscures it. This image may have been taken in Massachusetts, where White maintained a separate residence, and may be related to image #MWM2010.0001.2950.
