Seven men and women rest at the end of their hike on a rock ledge over looking forests and fields. Mountains are in the background. The people sit on the right side of the frame, most looking straight ahead and away from the camera. A couple look off to the left. On the back, is written "Dome Rock-Randolph, N.H., A.M.C. Fall Hiking Week, 9/53". There is a sticker on the back addressed to "Mrs. Robert J. Hill, Morrill Road, Canterbury, N.H. Class 1". "C18" is also on the back.
