MWM2016.0002.0037Description
Four men and a woman, dressed well, ride in an automobile dating back to the early 1900s as part of the Glidden Tour. Another well dressed man approaches the vehicle. These tours were meant to spread awareness of the goals of the American Automobile Association as the need for horse and carriage died out, but it soon became a way to show off antique cars. Trees and cars can be seen in the background. On the back is written "Glidden Tour, Peterboro, N.H.", "68" and "A36".Collection
