This book is a partial autobiography of Ida Rachel Butterfield James, Lucy Ardena Butterfield, and Walter H. James. Pieces of this book are written by each person and document their time spent tramping the White Mountains, hiking, and taking automobile and camping trips from 1909- 1926.
