This book is a partial autobiography of Ida Rachel Butterfield James, Lucy Ardena Butterfield, and Walter H. James. Pieces of this book are written by each person and document their time spent tramping the White Mountains, hiking, and taking automobile and camping trips from 1909- 1926. It includes photos of the landscape, themselves, and people they met, stayed with, or tramped with during this time. Also included are maps of the tails they took and the mountains they climbed.
