This book gives a historical account of the Atlantic Coast of the U.S. and Northeastern U.S. It includes W.H. Barlett's drawings which have been transformed into steelplate engravings for the various regions and scenic views of the Northeastern U.S. Physical Description: Hardcover, burgandy red colored, spine of book is cover in cloth white colored, with title in gold colored imprinted lettering. The front and back cover include an image of a waterfall, with people climbing along the banks. The book is housed in a hardcover case that the book slides into. The housing is the same burgandy red color with the same image scene.
