Scope and Content

Item is a brochure for the Mt. Agassiz Observatory featuring a photograph of three people on the top of a steel observation tower. Also in view are trees and rocks by the tower, and an American flag at the top. The front features information such as cost (25c) and transportation (Carriage Service during August and September) and telephone number. The interior page gives information on Mt. Agassiz as well as a map of "Principal Points Seen from Mt. Agassiz." The back features a list of altitudes in feet above sea level of White Mountains points as well as a poem written by Mrs. Annie B. Hine of New Haven, CT.
