Item is a bound booklet containing addresses that were delivered "at the '1979 New Hampshire Symposium' of The Newcomen Society in North America held at Whitefield, New Hampshire, on October 10th, 1979." Speeches were by The Honorable Frank R. Kenison and The Honorable Sherman Adams. Text pertains to the enterprising businesses from New Hampshire's North Country. There is a history of the area, focused on entrepreneurship as well as information on contemporary business, industry, and preservation leaders in the North Country. Booklet was printed for the Newcomen Society of the United States.
