Description

Exterior view of a building in the middle of construction. Likely the small hostelry built by Frank P. Walker in 1870. This building was located west of the present Balsams hotel complex. It was destroyed by fire in 1872. The building is surrounded by wooden scaffolding as its in the process of being cladded. Two men and two horses stand near the front doorway. Behind the building is a wooden barn wiith two wagons in front.
