9" x 11 1/2" and 1/2" thick, handwritten travel journal with black cover. Travel journal from June 1914 detailing trips through the White Mountains found inside. Examination booklets from 1916 (one blue and one gray) are 7" x 8 1/2" and located loose inside the back cover.

Loose binding, used to be taped. The solid blue examination booklet front and back covers are separated from the binding. The gray examination booklet has a slight separation of the covers from the binding from the top and the bottom but is still bound at the middle.
