Black and white lithograph. It was originally painted by John F. Kenset. The scene shows a black cow and a white cow drinking from a shallow river, and to their left is a fenced road. Behind them are the mountains. Printed below the image is: "Engraved expressly for the Ladies Repository (Cin) by R. Hinshelwood from the original by J.F. Kenset in possession of J.W. Casilear."
