Scope and Content

Color drawing of people riding a single tram car on Cannon Mountain during the summer. Printed on the back is, "The Cannon Mountain Passenger Tramway is the only one of its kind in North America. Two cars each carrying 27 passengers go from Valley Station (1981 ft.) in Franconia Notch to Summit of Cannon Mountain (alt. 4107 ft.) in less than six minutes. Cars travel at 1000 feet per minute. The Tramway operates winter and summer."
