Having cool clear weather up [unintelligible] today. Showers this afternoon. Sunday drove to Randolph [unintelligible] Cherry Mt. Yesterday went to North Woodstock, the Flume and the tramway on Mt. Cannon. Wonderful clear views from summit. A thrilling ride up and back, 7 minutes each way, a ride of almost 2200 ft and distance atbout 1 1/4 miles. We waited almost 35 minutes for a car up as there were quite a few ahead of us. This Monday climbed to observatory on Black Mt.
