Scope and Content

The Maplewood Hotel is pictured in this colored image with bushes and flowers in the foreground on the lawn and a porch that wraps around the side of the building. The building has four visible towers as well as flags on the tops of the tallest ones. The building has four stories and a dirt drive leading to the front door. The hotel was built in 1889 and burned to the ground in the 1960s. The only surviving building is the casino. Published by the New England News Company.
