Scope and Content

Built in 1816 and moved in 1876 to make way for the Maplewood Hotel, the Maplewood Cottage sports a porch, two decks, a cupola and five stories. The porch on the first floor leads to a path way allowing guests to drive up to the end. The deck on the second floor also extends out so that guests may overlook the dirt road. Trees stand on either side and flowers line the pathway. A flower bush sits in the foreground.
