A carriage and people stand in front. Mountains are in the background. Back Description: A letter is written on the back with a George Washington stamp in the upper right corner. Transcription: Mrs. J. D. Yowing(?) North Reading, Mass Dear Mary, Will you please send me the directions for making that crochet pattern I started at your house. I can't seem to get it right and I want to do some of it; to trim a waist. It is good to see the sun again we have rain enough now to make up for the dry times.
