Scope and Content

The Joseph Stickney Memorial Church is pictured in the foreground with an A-frame roof, stone masonry and a small belfry. Named for the man that built the Mount Washington Hotel, it is also known as the Church of Transfiguration and was dedicated in 1907. A dirt road winds around the church. In the distance, across a green field is the Mount Washington hotel, red roofing and flags flying from its towers. Other buildings and mountains are also visible. Published by J.V.Hartman.
