David Kell (c. 1821-1885) was born in England. He is listed as a weaver in the 1860 and 1870 Census of Madison Township, Jackson County, Ohio. By 1880 he had relocated to Philadelphia, where he died in 1885. One of his extant coverlets is inscribed with the date 1851, but most are undated like this one.Collection
