Description

Red, green, brown, charcoal gray, and blue figured beiderwand coverlet with applied fringe on three sides. Single panel, seamless, with center medallion pattern. The medallion is surrounded with a floral design of tulips, coxcomb and then a circular border of leaves. The border is a foliate floral pattern. Prominent hook marks, especially in borders (see third picture). Purchased at auction in Lemasters, Pennsylvania in late 1970s.
