Figured coverlet; undyed and blue cotton and red and green wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels; pattern is mismatched and mended in places. Selvedges on either side; top and bottom hemmed. Central motif alternates four-rose medallions with stylized flower and four stars. Border on three sides is a large meandering grapevine. Secondary border on outer edge and consists of circles enclosed by diamonds.Collection
