Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red, blue, and green wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Hem at top and bottom with fringe attached to bottom hem. Self-fringe on sides. Central motif consists of large eight-pointed star medallions with four tulips and four other flowers at its center. Stars are separated by a scrolling vine that weaves its way around smaller star medallions. Border is a repeating pattern of a bowl overflowing with fruit and scrolling leaves.Collection
