Figured coverlet; undyed and blue cotton and red, blue, and green wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top and bottom, with fringed applied to bottom hem. Self-fringe on sides. Central motif consists of medallions of four red rose blossoms alternating in stripes with blue and green star bursts. Border runs along the sides and bottom edge and red, green, and blue on the side edges. The corner blocks are a part of this border. The secondary border runs along the outer edge and contain a double row of stylized flowers with a diagonal block design on the corners. (The bottom border consists of one row of blue and the other green. The side borders are blue, red, and green following the color stripes of the color stripes of the main pattern.)Collection
