Description

Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, double cloth. Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top, fringed sides and bottom. Central motif consists of medallion of four roses. The medallions are encircled by small stars, while a floral motif stands at each intersection. Border on three sides have a doubleheaded eagle motif. The eagles are carrying a shield upon their breast and are separated from one another by four pine trees.
