Double weave; navy, natural, seamless; self fringe on bottom, 2 loom widths; side outer borders have small hearts and swag; top and bottom outer border have leaves, stars, and swag; side inner borders of eagles, distelfinks, stars, and plants; top and bottom inner border has chickens, flowers and inscription; centerfield contains rows of floral and starry medallions; four corner blocks with flower inside square David Haring uses the same flower symbol; this looks like his work, but McCarl sheet lists Young as the weaver, and his initials, NY, are on the corners, plus both weavers were from the same area in New Jersey
