Description

Overshot coverlet; blue cotton and red, blue, and green wool. The center seam is well-matched and appears to have the original stitching. Top is hemmed and three sides are fringed. The central design motifs are the tables, which have a band of converging chevrons across the middle and broken diamond stripes are seperated by stripes of approximately the same width, which repeat the converging chevron pattern vertically. The broad bands of color change when the design changes. There is a border on three sides which also consists of chevrons and diamonds.
